Colonic Training | Turn your passion into a vocation

Individual Online Learning

Studying online gives you more flexibility. You can work and fit your work schedule (and your hobbies) around your coursework more easily; and interact with your instructor and your fellow classmates at your own pace.
You can choose your own learning environment that works best for your needs: be it your bedroom, your study or the café across the street.
And you don’t have to commute to class, which means less time spent on the bus and more study time and doing what you want to do.
Keep in mind that studying online requires more self-motivation and time-management skills, because you will spend a lot of time on your own without someone physically close to keep you focused on deadlines.

Practical Training

You will study in a peaceful environment with no more than 4 other students. Part of the practicum will be in a real clinic with real clients.
Our highly individualized training allows all our students to become fully qualified and confident Holistic Colon Hydrotherapist using the Gold Standard, which is a holistic approach to clean the colon without trauma.

We know how daunting it can be if you haven’t’ studied for a while, maybe it is even the first time you are pursuing a formal study. Discuss relevant topics with other students and teachers. Get the answers you need when you need them, because when you do our course, you are never alone.

Education is in Our Blood

It is important to consider that in our profession, patients often arrive in a state of emotional distress. They might have been let down by big pharma and conventional medicine and as a result, they seek alternative solutions to their health issues. We are often presented with past diagnoses and treatment plans that do not work, or worse, could be incorrect. In such cases, relying solely on intuition to recommend treatment regimens or providing treatment without considering contraindications is not a viable option.

As colon hydrotherapists, we must take into account numerous factors such as  social beliefs, emotional connections, detoxification, lifestyle, and past injuries. This process requires time, effort, and the development of strategies and tools to avoid mistakes.

Research plays a crucial role in our work, as we spend most of our time learning and studying to gain a better understanding of our field. Sometimes this research can seem mundane and endless, but it pays off when we apply our newfound knowledge to patient intake or treatment. It is crucial to emphasize that continuing education is the cornerstone of our profession. This constant learning process allows us to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and techniques, which ultimately benefits our patients.

Your Instructor

Ela Gold (DOHSc, Dip-Ayu, Dip-Acu, HCHt) has been working in the field of alternative health for more than 20 years. In her Vitalis Health Colon Wellbeing Clinic in NSW, Australia she sees many clients with gut issues, chronic fatigue syndrome and other parasite related health problems.
She was one of the first practitioners in Australia to specialize in internal cleansing and detoxification, at a time when most people thought that ‘detox’ was for people with drug and alcohol problems.
Due to major health issues from birth, Ela developed a keen interest in all areas of alternative health, having researched and studied a wide variety of modalities all over the world.
Starting in Germany with nutrition and herbs, her travels later brought her to India to study Ayurveda and meditation, Korea to study Acupuncture, Brazil to learn about shamanic practices and China to experience Feng-Shui.
Once she settled in Australia in 1992 she continued her education and added Colon Hydrotherapy and Aromatherapy to her practice. Combined with a strong foundation in health and medical research, she is now one of Australia’s leading detoxification specialists.
Her passion is teaching about alternative health in particular the results she achieves with non-pharmaceutical health products including herbs and oils.
Ela knows that body, mind, and spirit work together and total health must incorporate all aspects of this trinity. Her motto is:
The only healer that can heal you is YOU’
Her mission is to help people to stay healthy, by cleansing and detoxifying the body, mind, and soul naturally. To encourage people to take responsibility for their own life and empower them to create their own reality, thereby allowing the awakening of inner peace and harmony.
She founded and authored Shanti Village and its related websites, a conglomerate of online resources for health and wellbeing established in 1998 and contributed to a variety of books about health and wellbeing.
Ela enjoys the company of happy prosperous people and likes to indulge in five-star raw food and French champagne. She finds balance with meditation and yoga.
